Research Associate - Mass Spectrometry Half Time Position, Science Park, Ness-Ziona, Israel

Who we are
C.T.M. Technologies and Materials Ltd. is an industrial laboratory offering specialized 
high-level native mass-spectrometry based protein, protein complexes, and high-mass 
polymer analysis to aid industry and academy in solving intractable, complex, 
biomolecular puzzles.

 
The role
We are looking for a capable, creative, out-of-the box thinking individual with the ability 
to learn quickly. A passion for solving complex biological puzzles with large datasets is a 
must. Previous experience in mass-spectrometry, however, is not a requirement for this 
position, as skills needed will be taught on-site by the CSO.

Job will include-
• Hands-on laboratory experiments using advanced mass spectrometry 
equipment. 
• Data analysis of complex samples, datasets, protein-protein and small moleculeprotein interaction including structural level interpretation and examination of 
said biomolecules.
• Direct interaction with the CSO and various customers to present and explain 
given project results.

Qualifications
• Candidate should hold at least an M.Sc. in protein biochemistry or adjacent 
fields-chemistry, biology, biophysics, etc. 
• Two years of wet-lab experience including in methods such as SDS-PAGE and 
different protein purification workflows.
• Extensive understanding of protein structure and function. with experience in 
molecular visualization software such as pyMOL and Chimera. 
• Strong technical orientation and ability to execute complex protocols and 
experiments.
